Police Identify Victim In Deadly Alfred Crash

Police have released the name of a woman who was killed in a crash on Whichers Mills Road in Alfred Thursday morning.

The victim has been identified as April Robinson, 52, of Alfred, state police said in a news release Thursday afternoon.

She was pronounced dead after her car struck a tree just before 7:30 a.m.

Robinson was the only person in the car at the time, and no other vehicles were involved in the wreck.

"There is no apparent cause for why the car left the road," the release said.
