Police Identify Driver In Fatal Hampden Crash

Police on Wednesday identified the victim in a fatal crash on Interstate 95 in Hampden Tuesday evening.

Mark Aubut, 53, of Bath was driving a 2003 GMC Yukon when the SUV left the interstate, struck a tree and burst into flames, according to police. Aubut was killed in the crash, which occurred at about 5:15 p.m. near mile marker 176.

Speed was not a factor and troopers continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
