Versant and Central Maine Power companies are both reporting outages this morning, with the largest number of those in CMP territory.

Tropical Storm Isaias swept through Maine Tuesday night, leaving many without power. The storm followed a track through Southern and Western Maine, causing the most damage in Cumberland, York, Kennebec, and Androscoggin counties. Downed trees and lines have many people waking up without their morning coffee.

As of 6:00 a.m, Versant is reporting 396 customers without electricity, while CMP reports 78,768. Crews were prepared for the storm and are already working to restore power as quickly as possible. Residents are reminded to leave the repairs to the experts and never try to clear debris from power lines. No line is safe to touch, ever.

The storm's high winds caused some boats in southern Maine to wash ashore.WGME-TV reports three pontoon boats on Sebago Lake were damaged, with two of them banging into each other. The owner had to be pulled from the water as he tried to get the boats to shore.
