Columbia Falls, Maine, is where our soldiers and their families are honored, and home of Wreaths Across America.

This Sunday, there will be a ceremonial removal of a tribute to veterans out of the town of Bar Harbor to Columbia Falls. The Perpetual Christmas Tree, which has been lit continuously in Agamont Park in Bar Harbor for the past few years has now apparently been deemed offensive and the town council there has ordered it removed.

This video, produced by Wreaths Across America Executive Director Karen Worcester explains the concept behind the tree.

You can be part of Sunday's removal and relocation of the Perpetual Christmas Tree to a new veteran's park in Columbia Falls.

Part of Sunday's celebration includes a free concert for veteran's featuring Lee Greenwood, where he'll sing God Bless the USA.
