One Person Killed In Fiery Crash On I-95 In Hampden

Update: State Police have identified the driver killed in a fatal crash in Hampden as  Mark Aubut, 53, of Bath. 

Original story: One person is dead after a fiery crash on I-95 in Hampden on Tuesday evening.

The accident happened in the southbound lane of I-95 at about 5:15 p.m. near mile marker 176. An SUV went off the road into several trees and burst into flames.

Motorists told troopers that the vehicle had its four way flashers on as it was driving in the southbound lane. The vehicle veered off the highway into a group of trees and burst into flames.
