Old Town Woman Charged In Ongoing Drug Investigation

An Old Town woman faces drug charges  after police say they seized crack cocaine and heroin from her apartment on Friday.

Rachel Cardona, 27, was arrested and charged with possession of schedule drugs and obstructing government administration. Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges could follow.

The arrest came after a traffic stop on Stillwater Ave in Old Town.

This traffic stop led to a search warrant being conducted at 20 Whistle Way Apt 29 in Old Town. During the investigation and search warrant crack cocaine, heroin and $5900 in suspected drug proceeds were seized, police said.
