Old Town Shooter Was Using A BB Gun

Two teens are facing charges after reports of a shooting turned out to be done with a BB gun.

Just after 8:00 Sunday morning, Old Town Police received a report of three males running down Brunswick Street, chasing another man. Witnesses reported that one of the men was shooting a gun at the one being pursued. Officers located the group that they recognized as having been involved in a fight earlier in the day and discovered that the firearm was a gas-powered BB gun.

Two 19-year-old men from Old Town were arrested; Teddy Hanson was charged with criminal threatening, while Markus Pond was charged with disorderly conduct. The victim in the case wasn't hurt.
