Officials Investigate Fatal Fire at Troy Mobile Home

One man is dead following a mobile home fire in the town of Troy.

The fire on the North Dixmont Road was reported at around 4:30 on Wednesday afternoon. Fire officials told WABI-TV that the body of a middle-aged man was found inside the home, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. A dog was reported to be inside the residence, as well. The victim's name has not been released, pending notification of family.

The State Fire Marshal's Office is now investigating to determine how the fire started.
