A preliminary investigation into the crash indicates the 16-year-old female from Northfield was driving a Honda Accord northbound when she made a left turn to enter her driveway.
At the same time, a black GMC pickup truck, driven by 50-year-old Perin Yates of East Machias was traveling southbound. The two vehicles collided while the teen's Honda was in the southbound lane.
