A graduate of Nokomis High School died while hiking at Zion National Park in Utah on Wednesday.

Savannah McTague, 19, fell to her death while hiking on Angels Landing, according to park officials. She was a concessions employee at the park.

McTague was reported missing on Wednesday. Searchers found her body Thursday morning.

Officials at Nokomis High told WABI that McTague was a gifted student who graduated as a junior in 2017.

According to the National Park Service, eight people have died in falls from Angels Landing.
