Newport Man Sought For Allegedly Assaulting Girlfriend

Newport police are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted his girlfriend Sunday afternoon.

The alleged assault occurred at a home on Willow Drive in Newport.

Coty Kelso, 26, is accused of hitting his girlfriend in the chest and throwing her son against a wall.

Police say Kelso faces two counts of domestic violence assault and has an active warrant for unpaid fines.

The suspect is described as 5'10" tall, and 180 pounds, with brown hair with hazel eyes.
