The names of the people involved in the crash have not been released. Officials say two people from a passenger car were taken to the hospital, with one reported to be in serious condition.
According to the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened Thursday afternoon on Western Avenue, near the intersection with Carmel Road North, in Newburgh.
