Camp North Woods will take place this July at the UMaine 4-H Camp and Learning Center at Bryant Pond. It is a week long camp with separate weeks for boys and girls from ages 8-12 years old. The camp will include hands on training in ATV use, boating, paddling,  sports, turkey & deer hunting, outdoor survival, map & compass skills, the life of a Maine Game Warden, archery, shotgun, rifle, spin fishing, fly fishing, fly tying, trapping, and more! There is even a parents day where parents can join in on the outdoor activities for the day.

Because the camp is expected to have high applicant numbers they will hold a lottery to choose campers. There will be 96 winners with 70% being Maine residents and 30% non-residents. There is a small entry fee for the lottery and if selected as a camper a tuition will be expected to attend.

You can enter the lottery and learn more from the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
