A man wanted for murder in New York was arrested this week in Winterport, Maine.

The U.S. Marshal's Office reports that Lamont Dolberry, 52, of New York City, New York was wanted in that state for a charge of Homicide: Murder 2.

New York Murder Suspect Caught on a Scooter in Maine

Multiple agencies were working together to track Dolberry, when Maine authorities developed information indicating that, after fleeing New York, he had been living in Maine for the past several months.

On November 4th, law enforcement located Dolberry in Winterport, as he was operating an E-Scooter near Cove Road.

U.S. Marshals Service Encourages Tips on This and Other Fugitive Cases

Mr. Dolberry was taken into custody and transported to a local jail facility, where he awaits extradiition back to New York.
