A 15-year-old Mt. View student is charged with terrorizing for allegedly making threats against the school.

School administrators notified police on Monday, April 22nd, of a possible threat of violence against the school that had allegedly been made by a student of Mt. View High school, via social media. Waldo County Sheriff's Office personnel, including the school's resource officer, worked with the school's staff to identify the student suspected of making the threats. A number of witnesses were questioned, along with the suspect. As a result of the investigation, the teen was charged with Class D Terrorizing.

Chief Deputy Jason Trundy says this matter was resolved through the cooperation of Mt. View staff members and the Sheriff's Office, and is a good example of the 'See Something-Say Something' campaign.
