Milo House Explodes Injuring Two

Two people have been hurt after their house exploded in Milo.

The house exploded at around 8:00 Friday night on the Ferry Road. The homeowners were both injured. A man was sent to Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft while the woman was taken to a Portland hospital to be treated for burns.

Officials will now work to determine what caused the explosion, but told WABI-TV that it appears to have been a build-up of gas inside the house that was somehow ignited.
