Millinocket Pickup Accident Kills 19-Year-Old

A single-car crash in Millinocket has claimed the life of a 19-year-old man.

Mark Dibona of Millinocket died at the accident site early Saturday morning, according to police. Another driver discovered the crash on the Cedar Lake Road just before 3:00. State Police say Dibona's Ford F-350 pickup truck left the road about 6 miles west of Millinocket and crashed into a ditch.

Police say Dibona was not wearing a seat belt and speed is the likely cause of the accident.
