Mercedes Hit Head-On By A Runaway Boat

No one was injured when a boat and trailer struck a Mercedes head-on in the town of Arundel.

The Portland Press Herald reports the incident happened at around 6:00 Saturday afternoon. Bryan Raymond of Kennebunkport was hauling his 25 foot boat and trailer behind his truck when it came loose. The boat and trailer crossed the center line on the Log Cabin Road and struck a Mercedes CLK convertible head-on. The convertible was driven by Amy Graynor of Kennebunkport.

No one was hurt in the accident but there was considerable damage to the convertible. Police are investigating the crash.
