A Bronx, New York man faces trafficking charges in Maine after trying to hide drugs and cash down his pants.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says 31-year-old Reginald Lewis is originally from the Bronx, but had recently moved to Kennebunk after living in a hotel in Biddeford. Lewis, who is also known by the street name 'Uno,' was arrested on Wednesday night at a Kennebunk hotel. Seized during a search of his room were 26 grams of cocaine base, 7.5 grams of suspected heroin, and nearly $1,900 in cash, all of which drug agents found in his underwear.

He's been charged with aggravated drug trafficking for an investigation that concentrated on cocaine and heroin sales in the Biddeford/Saco area, including purchases from him by undercover agents. A second charge is expected to be lodged against him for drug sales in Kennebunk.

At last report, he was being held in lieu of $25,000 bail at the York County Jail.
