A Massachusetts man has died of injuries he sustained in a single-vehicle accident in Wells on Monday.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says 46-year-old Con Van Huynh lost control of his vehicle in the northbound lanes of the Maine Turnpike at around 3:00 Monday afternoon. The SUV struck guardrails and then overturned, coming to rest on its roof, beside the highway. Huynh was not wearing his seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. He was transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where he died last night from his injuries.

Huynh was from Worcester, Massachusetts, but was in the process of relocating to the Biddeford area, when the accident happened.
