A driver who struck an Amish wagon in New Limerick earlier this year, killing one person and injuring another, is charged with manslaughter.

30-year-old Colby Clark of Merrill was suspected of being impaired when he struck an Amish wagon from behind. WABI-TV reports he was driving on County Road, when he lost control of his vehicle. 25-year-old Titus Kauffman, who was on the wagon, died at the scene. 18-year-old Caleb Kauffman, who was also on the wagon, was seriously injured. The horse that had been pulling the wagon was so severely injured it had to be put down.

Clark has been charged with manslaughter,operating under the influence, and aggravated driving to endanger.

His bail has been set at $2,000.
