The Maine Marine Patrol reports a man's body was recovered from the water in Greenland Cove on Monday.

Officials say it was around 11:00 when a commercial fishing vessel spotted the body in the water. The deceased man was recovered and taken to the Medical Examiner's Office.

The Marine Patrol has been searching Round Pond Harbor, nearly 2 nautical miles south of where the body was found, since last Monday when 63-year-old Glenn Murdoch of Bremen went missing. Murdoch's skiff had been found adrift in the harbor, where his 18-foot aluminum Starcraft boat is moored.

The body was transported to the State Medical Examiner's Office for positive identification that the body pulled from Greenland Cove is Murdoch.
