Make A Wish Walk Back to In Person in Bangor This Month

Brenda Gammon is the Chairperson for the Bangor Walk for Wishes, which is a fundraiser for Make A Wish Maine.

Here’s what she says about holding Walk for Wishes this year.

We are excited that we can now once again hold an in-person event.

The Bangor event is Thursday May 19^th.  Registration begins at 5, and the walk is at 6 pm. The event is completely outside, at the Bangor Waterfront.

This year signifies a return to Walk for Wishes in person walks, but Make A Wish Maine encourages everyone to choose the option that best fits their crowd comfort level.

You can walk your own neighborhood or wherever you choose if that’s your preference.

It starts with forming a team. Family, Friends, Co-workers. Whomever.

The full distance for the walk is 2 miles, and if you raise $50 you will receive the 2022 Walk for Wishes T-Shirt
