With that established, which major wholesale club, with several locations in Maine, announced that it will be raising its membership fees in 2025?

According to Business Insider, BJ's Wholesale announced it will increase membership fees starting January 1. The cost of a Club membership will rise to $60 annually, up $5, while a Club+ membership will increase to $120, up $10.

BJ's Wholesale Club recently revealed plans to increase its membership fees for the first time in years.

CEO Robert Eddy said the extra income will help expand BJ's delivery services and improve staffing, especially as the company focuses on selling fresh produce. This marks BJ's first membership fee hike in seven years, following similar increases by rival Costco earlier this year.
