As of Monday, August 11, 2025, the Maine Forest Rangers report the wildfire had consumed roughly 30 acres and was 20 percent contained. Fire crews were busy installing a saw line and hose lays to get resources to the remote regions where they are needed.

No information has been released about how the fire started because crews are busy just trying to get it under control, but they say, so far, no structures have been affected and there's no danger to the public.
