First Shot at Charity Golf Tournament for Maine Veterans Was Aced
Emerging Leaders Network 1st Annual Charity Golf Tournament to benefit Maine Veterans Project took place on June 29th at Jato Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln, ME. This was an 18-hole 4-person scramble at $70 per person and included each participant's registration and meal with proceeds going to the Maine Veterans Project.

Mainers Came Together for a Day of Golf While Supporting Maine Veterans
This was the inaugural golf tournament for the Emerging Leaders Network. It has been shared that it was a wonderful success and in total, an extremely impressive $11,266.26 was raised for Maine Veterans Project. Wow!
Maine Veterans Project has shared that the funds raised will go directly to help provide heating fuel for Maine Veterans this winter. Congratulations to the Emerging Leaders Network of Northeast Paving and thank you MVP for all the incredible things that you continue to do for our Maine Veterans!
Who Were the Organizers of This Golf Tournament for Maine Veterans?
The Emerging Leaders Network is a group of Northeast Paving employees whom Managers nominate as an individual who exemplifies the qualities of a leader. The group's mission is to create a diverse and inclusive network of professionals dedicated to developing and strengthening relationships within the organization, industry, and community through collaboration, education, and mentorship. ELN works to achieve this goal by participating in events that focus on Professional Development, Community Service, and Team Building.
What is Maine Veterans Project?
If it involves helping Veterans in Maine, Maine Veterans Project sees that as there mission and there are no barriers or restrictions. They offer programs and activities and also use all resources to make sure our Veterans have the basic life essentials.
Additionally, Maine Veterans Project has an automobile program for those Veterans in need of a vehicle, a pet program to pair up Veterans and animals looking for a home, and so much more. Again, if it benefits a Veteran, MVP is on it.
