A Maine man is facing multiple charges after leading police on a high-speed pursuit in a stolen vehicle.

Limington, Maine Man Allegedly Led a Police Pursuit in a Stolen Truck

Shaun Webster, 33, of Limington is charged with:

  • Theft by unauthorized use
  • Failure to stop for law enforcement
  • Driving to endanger
  • Operating under the influence
  • Aggravated criminal mischief
  • Criminal trespass
  • Passing a roadblock.

Once he was taken into custody, Webster was transported to the York County Jail.

Pickup Truck Involved in a Police Pursuit Was Stolen from a Limington, Maine Home

The charges stem from an incident on Sunday, May 31, 2026, that began in the town of Limington and traveled through several communities before coming to a resolution.

Maine State Police tried to stop a stolen pickup truck on Route 25 for poor operation.

The vehicle had been reported stolen from a home in Limington about an hour earlier.

Officials say the truck failed to stop and continued southbound on Route 25 into Standish, where it turned north on Route 113.

Maine Police Used Spike Mats to End a High-Speed Chase in Hiram

The police pursuit traveled through Baldwin and into Hiram, where spike mats were deployed, successfully disabling the vehicle.

There are no reports of any injuries in the incident.
