Police Say a Missing New York Man Was Found Dead in Maine
Maine State Police are working with New York authorities in the search for a missing man who may be in the Dover-Foxcroft area.
UPDATE: The Washington County Sheriff's Office in New York confirms that Joseph Fuller was found deceased in Maine. His obituary encourages people to donate to suicide prevention. Our condolences to his family and friends.
According to New York's Washington County Sheriff's Office, Joseph Fuller, 30, has been missing since September 21st. Officials are concerned since Fuller is considered a vulnerable adult with schizophrenia.
Fuller is described as a white male, 5'5" tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair, and blue eyes. At last report, he was seen driving a silver 2017 Nissan Rogue with Florida registration KCVR35.
Maine State Police say they have received information that suggests Joseph Fuller may be in the Dover-Foxcroft area. Anyone who thinks they may have information about Fuller's whereabouts is encouraged to contact Maine State Police Trooper Pina at 207-973-3700, extension 9.
