Blake Tibbetts, 24, of Cornish, faces multiple charges:
- Terrorizing
- Criminal Use of Explosives
- Criminal Attempt to Cause a Catastrophe
He is currently being held on $500,000 cash bail.

Maine Man Faces Charges for Allegedly Making Threats Against UNE
The State Fire Marshals' Office began investigating after receiving a report that an individual was making concerning remarks at a restaurant in Cornish. Officials say the comments referenced potential threats directed toward the University of New England in Biddeford.
Once Troopers identified the individual as Tibbetts, he was taken into custody, evaluated at a local hospital, and then transported to the York County Jail.

The FBI and Maine State Police were brought in on the investigation, and a search of Tibbett's residence was conducted.
According to the State Fire Marshal's Office, investigators found bomb-making materials in his home on Old Limington Road in Cornish.
Officials say there is no ongoing threat to the University Community.
