Say cheese! No, not for a photo, but for the Maine Cheese Festival returning Sunday, September 8th, 2024. The celebration takes place in Manson Park in Pittsfield, Maine. No need to bring that 'cheddah' if you purchase tickets early by clicking here, but they will also be sold at the gate and kids under 10 get in for free.

The Maine Cheese Guild invites you to discover the best handmade products that Maine has to offer and meet the creators. The Maine Cheese Festival hosts a wide array of Maine cheesemakers, alongside a variety of local, artisanal products all crafted to delight your tastebuds. Ticket sales are limited and are not available at the gate, so be sure to purchase yours in advance!

 

You will get to sample more cheeses than you have ever seen before in your life and get to meet the fascinating artisans behind each one. There will be live music, food trucks, goats and cows to make friends with, and a wonderful river park venue to escape reality for a day.

What Are Some of The Events at The Maine Cheese Festival?

In addition to all of the cheese samplings, there will be cooking demonstrations, educational events on how and where the cheese was crafted, which wine pairs best with which cheese, how to craft the perfect cheese spread and more.
