We've all heard the news.  Expected news if you know anything about Luke Combs.  How many consecutive #1 songs.  How great he is in concert. Bangor's two shows on the Middle of Somewhere Tour, both sold out on Friday, very quickly after going on sale to the general public.

Two things to think about.

Lots of those tickets were purchased by resale by companies, so if you are buying those, the prices will only go up as the ticket supply lessens and we get closer to the concerts.  Supply and demand.

Another thing to think about is a different Luke Combs concert. This one in Atlanta, Georgia. That show is sold out, but Q106.5’s parent company Townsquare Media has a pair of tickets to give away to the show, plus airfare, 2 nights' hotel stay courtesy Sony Music Nashville, plus  $500 in cash.

The way to win is to listen to Q106.5 for code words that you enter on the Q106.5 App. Those code words are weekdays at 8:20 and 10:20 a.m. and at 1:20 and 4:20 p.m.

Worth a shot. Remember when people win they mostly say “I never thought I’d win”. Very rarely do they say, “I knew I was going to win. It was a lock, nobody else had a chance."

And here’s some pure speculation. Totally no reason to think this, but look at this from the start of the Middle of Somewhere Tour

Hey Luke.  What are you doing the weekend after September 2nd and 3rd? Why not stay here, and really kick the tour off with a bang as in Bangor.

Or start it a day earlier on Thursday?

Think about it. Don’t say no just yet. Get your people to talk to their people and let’s see if this could happen.

Then before Mainers bought those re-sale tickets at fattened prices, they would have one more chance at the regular price to see Luke Combs in concert along the Bangor waterfront.

Here’s an audio salute to those who won their tickets by listening to Q106.5
