With the assistance of a Maine Game Warden, both people were located and detained nearby. The handgun that's believed to have been used in the incident was found by a State Police canine about 40 yards away.

Police determined the passenger was not present at the time of the shooting, so no charges have been filed against them. Henry was taken into custody without incident and transported to the York County Jail.
