Maine State Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a bog in Hancock County.

David Bridges, 70, of Kennebunk, was found deceased in Township 41 on Tuesday.
Kennebunk Man's Body Found in a Bog in Hancock County
It was just after 3:30 in the afternoon on Tuesday when Maine State Police Troopers were called to the 32000 Road for a report of an unattended death. The 32000 Road is off the Stud Mill Road in Northern Hancock County.

When they arrived, the troopers found Mr. Bridges in a bog, just off the roadway. Officials say it appears that he had been fur trapping in the area.

Bridges' body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta to determine the cause and manner of his death, which authorities say does not appear to have been suspicious.
