We all know that most folks go into a frothy panic when they hear snow's coming. They flock to grocery stores and empty the place of all the necessities. but if you look in the cart of the person behind you in line, there's a lot of things in there that are far from essentials.

I often see chip, cookies, frozen pizzas, candy...you name it. I have my own vices too. I personally can't walk past a bag of trial mix if I know I'm going to be spending the day at home, indoors. And not the kind of trail mix that's good for you, but the kind where I buy an extra bag of M&M's and throw them right in the mix.

I decided to check in with some of our awesome Q-listeners via our Facebook page, to see what y'all like to snack on when you stop giving a crap about eating healthy, and just want to increase your comfort level. And as usual, you guys never disappoint! Here's a few choice responses:

Two women after my own heart right there.

Some folks have a soft spot for the classics, and I can hardly blame them. I mean, I like a food adventure as much as the next guy, but sometimes you just want the basics.

Or maybe the storm means you cook all day, and make an array of delicious things to snack on all day.

There's no rules....it's a snow storm. All bets are off. So cook it up, eat it up, and enjoy it. Besides, lord knows, there will be ample opportunities to burn off a few of those calories. In the meantime, go ahead and use that small shovel we call a spoon to get all that tasty food in your mouth.
