Imagine - you are taking a picture and a BAT flies into your face. When you see this horrific creature from hell, you open your mouth and SCREAM. Bad decision.

If you know anything about bats, you know that they fly into caves because it's the place they like best. Maybe when she screamed, she sounded like some sort of bat sonar and the bat decided, "Hey, this woman's mouth must be where my family is! I think I'll just FLY INSIDE!"

Erica saw the bats flying around and I will never understand why she didn't run away at that point in complete and utter terror, but anyway... she was in the middle of taking a picture of the sky when the flippin' bat flew into her face and it got stuck between her mouth and the camera.

(I think I might throw up a little... one minute....)

When the bat was in her face, she opened her mouth to scream and that's how it got in her mouth. She said, "I got a taste of it." Oh my Holy God. Erica said it tasted "earthy and a little sweet" in case we were wondering.
