‘Wheels For Warriors’ Car Show Looking To Feature Maine Cars For Great Cause!
One local business is hoping to harness people's love for "classic" and "cool" cars to help Maine veterans in need.
For the second year in a row, the folks from Home Roofing Solutions, Maine's Professional Roofing company, with several offices across the state, are hosting the "Wheels for Warriors: Maine's Premiere Car Show" at the Cross Insurance Center.
While their inaugural run was very successful and raised over $30,000, they are hoping to make it even bigger and better this year, with a goal of $50,000. All of this, so they can help many more military members from Maine.
The event will occur on Saturday, June 21st, from 10 AM to 3 PM. Both admission to the show and registration (for those who want to enter their cars into the car show) are by donation.

100% of the proceeds from the Wheels For Warriors Car Show will go to help Maine veterans via The Marino Project, which aims to "cause significant impact on the lives of the brave men & women of the U.S. Military through support, advocacy, and financial relief."
Home Roofing Solutions Co-Owner, Joe Brasslett, says that what sets the Wheels for Warriors car show apart from many others is that they want to feature vehicles that don't just look cool, but actually mean something to Mainers.
"What makes this car show really special and unique is that if your vehicle is important to you, it's important to us. We love having a diverse group of automobiles for owners to show off, all while raising money for a cause that is super important to us, and needed in our Maine Military community."
Vehicles will be on display both inside the Cross Center and outside. They'll also have food and music.
If you have a vehicle you'd like to feature for this family-friendly event, registration is open now. You can click here to get to the registration form.
As a little incentive to those who want to get involved, they're throwing in a special "Commemorative Pit Stop Pack" Swag Bag to the first 150 people to sign up to display their cars.
