A fire heavily damaged a home in Oxford Sunday evening and displaced a family and four dogs.

Fire Damaged Home in Maine

Firefighters were on the scene around 5 pm on Paine Road, close to South Town Farm Road.

Family and Four Dogs Escaped

The family was not injured and the four dogs were able to escape safely, according to WGME News.

Fire is Under Investigation

Officials believe the fire started in the kitchen. The investigation is ongoing.
