Wendy’s Is Coming to Brewer! Get Ready for Frostys & Fries

Get your taste buds ready, Wendy’s is coming with all the fries, Frostys, and square burgers you can handle.

Who’s grabbing the first Baconator?

One of the great guilty pleasures in life is pigging out on food that maybe isn't so good for you, but take a look around town, and you will always see a line at the Chick-fil-A, or any McDonald's drive-thru.

This got us to thinking, what else would we like to see in the Greater Bangor area?

How about another delicious, mouth-watering Wendy's restaurant? It's coming!

Where?

Wendy's will be setting up shop on Wilson Street in Brewer, at 450 Wilson Street, directly across from VIP Tires and Services.

When?

There is no exact date yet, but it is included in the City of Brewer's 2026 budget.

This is great news for Brewer, which is a little thin on the fast food side of things, with just a Burger King, McDonald's, Subway, and KFC as the only options.

Currently, there are three Wendy's locations: 1046 Union Street in Bangor, 56 Bangor Mall Boulevard in Bangor, and 4 Stillwater Avenue in Old Town.

The upcoming Brewer restaurant would be the 18th Maine location of the iconic franchise.

For over 50 years, Wendy’s has been serving up fresh, juicy square burgers, crispy fries, and those legendary Frostys everyone loves.

It's classic American comfort food with a fun, friendly twist. Whether you crave a spicy chicken sandwich, a Baconator, or just some nuggets, rest assured that a Wendy’s is coming to Brewer soon!
