The comeback fans have been waiting for—Brewer Bar returns in 2026 🍺

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, things sure have changed quite a bit when it comes to nightlife in the Greater Bangor area.

Fewer and fewer people go out, and there aren't many places that stay open till last call, even on the weekends.

There also aren't as many places to see live music, or sing karaoke as their once were, and there is a glaring hole for a club that plays strictly current dance music for the younger crowd, that likes to go out and have fun on Friday & Saturday night.

Back in April of this year, Mack's Restaurant and Tavern, opened their doors at 391 North Main Street in Brewer, offering up a a full menu, that included brunch, and a weekly Saturday & Sunday breakfast.

After a tough decision, pouring their hearts and creativity into the business, Mack's close permanently, this past Sunday, November 23rd.

What's next for the location at 391 North Main Street, in Brewer? The rumors are true, Mad Kat and Company will return to its original location in 2026!

After closing their doors in November of 2024, they are ready to make a major comeback.

Kat Markwith, recently put up a Facebook post, with the surprising news that they are ready to rock again, next year.

To give you a quick history of that particular spot, Mad Kat and Company, thrived there for over four years, offering up nightly karaoke fun and food, but the owners had to put the business up for sale, in December of 2024.

Before that, you may remember it was known as Jester's, which was a well known fixture in the City of Brewer, but in September of 2020, Markwith and her husband took over, changing the name to Mad Kat & Company.

The karaoke & good vibes are coming to back to kick off the new year!
