New Arcade in Brewer, Maine Opens This Month

Maine arcades are a little slice of nostalgia with a friendly twist. From cozy town spots with classic pinball and retro games to beachside arcades buzzing with summer energy, there’s something for everyone.

Kids are discovering old-school favorites, parents are reliving their teenage hangouts, and everyone’s having fun together. Maine arcades mix games, community, and charm in a way you won’t find anywhere else.

With this in mind, there’s some great news! A brand-new arcade is set to open in Brewer. Designed with everyone in mind, this new entertainment hotspot will offer a vibrant atmosphere, exciting challenges, and plenty of chances to win prizes. It’s the kind of place where kids can be kids, adults can relive their glory days, and everyone can enjoy a little friendly competition.

Game Vortex Arcade, located at 80 Rudman Road in Brewer, is set to open its doors in mid-April, offering activities for kids of all ages.

All your favorite games will be available, including claw machines, pinball machines, basketball games, pearl fishery, ice ball, Jurassic Park, Space Invaders, and more!

In addition to the arcade games, there will be snack and soda machines to start. Don’t worry—food will definitely be added later. Pool tables and air hockey tables are also coming soon.
