Carly Pearce is a force within country music nowadays, with a Grammy under her belt, and five No. 1 songs on the country music airplay charts.

When she speaks about the talents of another artist, people listen.

Carly Pearce Has Something to Say About Post Malone Going Country

I recently had some one-on-one time with the "We Don't Fight Anymore" singer, and I asked her what her feelings were on Post Malone crossing over to the country world.

The Grammy Award-winning artist had some strong feelings.

I love Post Malone. I think he's doing it in such a cool way and in such a way that feels very much like the whole country community is rallying around him.

Then, Pearce dropped some heat about Malone and Morgan Wallen's song, "I Had Some Help." Pearce said, "I have to say, his song with Morgan is stuck in my head most hours of most days."

Pearce is certainly not alone with that sentiment. Malone's "I Had Some Help" is the fastest song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay charts since 2007, when Tim McGraw's "Live Like You Were Dying" reached No. 1 in just seven weeks.

For comparison, the average country song takes a little over 30 weeks to climb all the way to the top of the Billboard Country Airplay charts.

Pearce is currently on tour, but that has changed a little recently with her heart condition diagnosis. Her album, Hummingbird, was just released as well.

As for Malone, he is set to release his upcoming country debut album, F-1 Trillion, Aug. 16. We bet Pearce will be one of the first to grab it when it's released.

Evan Paul is the host of Taste of Country Nights, a syndicated radio show heard on more than 130 country radio stations nationwide, every night from 7PM to midnight. He plays the best new country music and interviews today's top stars, like Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Dan + Shay, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Lady A, + more!
