It’s National Pet Day: What is Your Favorite Type of Pet?

Today is a day to give our little companions some extra appreciation, what kind of pet are you celebrating today?

For pet lovers everyday is full of loving on our fuzzy, feathered or scaled buddies. But today is a day to give them a little extra love, like we need an excuse to show our animal's how much we love having them around!

National Pet Day began to bring attention to animals who don't get as much daily attention as they should. Pets like orphaned or abandoned pets as well as neglected or abused animals should be thought of especially today. Here is a map of all the animal shelters in Maine.
