It Was a Fawn-tastic Afternoon Surprise in Orrington

An adorable fawn came to visit our yard in Orrington this week, walking out into the open before running for his mother.

When my husband, Jim, and I walked into our backyard to investigate the sound of a bleating fawn, we expected to see a spotted back in the tall grass of the woods, or a pair of ears that were barely visible. We were not prepared for an encounter that was, honestly, kind of magical.
