We have been impressed and inspired by 12-year-old Dorian "D-Max" Pillsbury, and think that you will be, too. For the past 5 years, D-Max has been finding problems within the local area and would play a role in fixing these problems through various fundraisers. One year, he collected $2,000 for a new PA system that was needed at Brewer's little league field. This year, D-Max decided to celebrate his 12th birthday by making sure everybody gets birthday cake.

D-Max's goal was to raise 100 cakes to donate to local food pantries and has so far raised over 400! In addition to the cakes, he has also been raising cash with hopes to provide meals to those who need them, and also a smile.

D-Max's annual gestures not only support needs all over the community, but he has also inspired those community members to get involved, too. Pictured above, the young entrepreneur reached out to his local grocer, Paradis Shop'n'Save, and asked to leave a donation box inside the store. They happily obliged and he also stood outside the store for 2 hours on his birthday collecting donations.
