The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office has identified a Bucksport couple who were killed in a boating accident in Orrington.

Officials say the two people who lost their lives over the weekend while canoeing in Orrington are identified as 28-year-old Loren Wadas-Kelly of Bucksport and her husband, 28-year-old Levi Kelly. The couple, who used to live in Wyoming, was apparently canoeing from a public boat launch in Orrington when it appears they capsized.

Deputies responded to the discovery of a deceased woman found on the riverbank Saturday evening. Loren's body was located near the boat launch off Settler's Way in Orrington. A canoe that appears to belong to the couple was recovered on Sunday morning. So far, Levi has not been located.

Multiple agencies have spent the week searching the area, on the ground, in the water, and by air. The Maine Marine Patrol, Penobscot County Sheriff's Office, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Air and Marine Operations, and the Maine State Police are all contributing to that search.

Take A Forbidden Look Inside Frozen Fort Knox

Fort Knox is closed for the season. While winter visitors can roam the grounds, the interior of the fort is closed off from the general public. If you browse through the photos below, you'll see why the fort is strictly off-limits until spring. That being said, we were given permission to enter the fort to create this gallery.

Again, the fort is closed from November through April. Do not attempt to enter the interior of Fort Knox. Entering the fort during the closed months is trespassing, and very dangerous.
