Ice Castles Aims to Open New Hampshire Location in January
The company behind the New Hampshire ice castle says they hope to open for the 2023 season soon.
An annual frozen attraction will open for the season soon. The New Hampshire Ice Castle will open for the season in January, according to the official website. Ice Castles tells us they currently have peak season tickets on sale, which run from January 19 through February 25. The hope is the weather will cooperate to open the ice castle a couple weeks before the January 19 tentative date. We're told by the company they typically can open the first weekend of January, however it's unclear yet if the castle will be ready, as building the attraction is very weather dependent.
The Ice Castle will be located at 24 Clark Farm Road, in North Woodstock. The location is just a few miles from its former location at the Hobo Railroad, in Lincoln.
This year's castle features massive turrets, archways, tunnels, ice thrones, ice slides and fountains that glow with colored LED lights frozen into the ice. The quarter-mile magical forest walk will be back again this year. New features includes a Polar Pub, serving winter-themed libations for the 21+ crowd. Those looking to boost their time at the Ice Castle can book private Arctic Alcove within the castle.
