This past weekend in Hartland, the 2019 Maine Academy of Country Music Awards were handed out. First and foremost, congratulations to everyone who won. And for that matter, congrats to those were nominated, but didn't win. It's always an honor just to be recognized, right?

That said, here are your 2019 winners!

Everyone on this list represents some of the finest musicians, singers, songwriters, and all-around good souls, that Maine has to offer. If you have a chance to go see any of these folks perform, get out and do it. Sure, national country acts come through Maine all the time, but never stop supporting the locals.

Because once upon a time, all those "national" artists were "local" ones too. And again, congrats to the 2019 winners!
