We all have one... or maybe two or three! Spooky stories. Some we've heard. Some we've lived! Now it's time to share those stories and there's a spot in Bucksport that seems an appropriate place to do so.

This Friday, October 29, at 6 PM, folks will gather, on the lawn of Wilson Hall (34 Middle Street in Bucksport) and tell tales of ghosts, spirits, and everything supernatural.

There will be free treats from a local bakery and cider from a local theater provided. All you need to bring is a blanket or chair, some warm clothes and your best spooky story!

The "Haunted Stories On A Hill" event is free, but donations are being accepted on behalf of the Buck Memorial Library.

"Every town needs a home for their stories to live, so we will be accepting donations for the Buck Memorial Library. With haunted Fort Knox peaking through the trees, and the Oak Hill cemetery right next door, there couldn’t be a more perfect setting for this eerie evening to celebrate Bucksport’s haunted past. There will be several scheduled storytellers, but this is also an open mic event. "

They'll have a raffle going on during the evening. And there will even be prizes for the best stories of the evening.

Just a note, it is an all-ages event, but if you have little ones or folks who are scared easily by tales of the supernatural, this may not be something they would enjoy.

You can find more information on the Facebook event page.
