A Gardiner man is facing charges after allegedly shooting and stabbing two men Saturday morning.

State Police say 21-year-old Dylan Ketcham was found hiding in a building's foundation, about a mile from the crime scene. He's charged with elevated aggravated assault for an incident that happened earlier in the day on Lincoln Avenue in Gardiner and is being held at the Kennebec County Jail.

Gardiner Police are working with troopers to investigate the shooting and stabbing of two men, also in the their 20's, early Saturday morning. The two victims were found outside a home on Lincoln Avenue just after 1 a.m, after one of the victims went to a neighbor's door, asking for help. One of the men had been shot and the other had stab wounds. Both were taken by ambulance to MaineGeneral in Augusta, and were then flown by LifeFlight helicopter to Maine Medical Center in Portland for emergency surgery.

The names of the victims have not been released. This case remains under investigation.
