Free Ride Home For You And Your Car On New Year’s Eve

A Bangor-based towing company is once again offering a free ride home for you and your vehicle, if you party too hard on New Year's Eve.

It's become a tradition in the Greater Bangor Area, when Union Street Towing offers to hook up your vehicle and give you and up to four friends a ride to a single residence. Their hope is that they can prevent at least a few people from driving while intoxicated and hopefully cut down on the number of alcohol-related accidents going into the new year.

There are a few restrictions, however, You must have the keys to the vehicle you want towed and it has to run. (no free tows for broken-down vehicles) The tow truck driver can accommodate up to five people, but they all need to be going to the same residence (not another party), and it has to be in the Bangor-Brewer area.
